Dear Customer: Please read this prior to placing your order. We take great care to package our plants for the absolute best protection from the stress of shipping. We always strive to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations about our store, and we will always try to solve any problems with our products.

Sometimes our plants may have some small details that may be of concern to you, such as brown edges, leaves with holes, a broken leaf, and other details which might make them look distressed from the shipping, and we apologize for this but the shipping environment is something out of our control. It is important that when the plant arrives, it is carefully removed, watered, and put in the open air as soon as possible.

The listing includes three seedlings that will be about 3 inches long with at least two leaves. No pots included.

Cinnamon basil, also known as Mexican spice basil, has a spicy, fragrant aroma and flavor. It contains methyl cinnamate, giving it a flavor reminiscent of cinnamon. Cinnamon basil has somewhat narrow, slightly serrated, dark green, shiny leaves with reddish-purple veins, which can resemble certain types of mint, and produces small, pink flowers from July to September. Its stems are dark purple. Cinnamon basil grows to 18–30 inches tall.

Shipment will be made only from Monday to Thursday.

Pesto perpetuo

This Basil is just as ornamental as it is tasty! ‘Pesto Perpetuo’ has beautiful soft-green leaves edged in white. This is a great selection for featuring in patio pots, either alone or in mixed planters. The ornamental foliage and rich fragrance can be enjoyed, and the fresh leaves can easily be harvested tableside if needed. This variety doesn’t flower so leaves can be harvested over a longer season than many Basils.
