How to Use Cuban Oregano

Cuban Oregano has a strong aroma and flavor — a little goes a long way. Try it in:

  • Herbal tea for cough or cold: Steep 2–3 fresh leaves in hot water for 10 minutes. Strain, add honey to taste, and sip slowly.
  • Cooking: Chop a few leaves to season beans, lentils, stews, or roasted vegetables. Flavor is similar to thyme/oregano but stronger.
  • Infused oil: Cover clean, dry leaves with olive oil in a jar; infuse 2–3 weeks in a cool, dark place. Strain for cooking or massage oil.
