Yellow passion fruit (Passiflora edulis f. Flavicarpa Deg

The fruit is larger than the standard purple variety. Extensively cultivated in Brazil.
Way of Cultivating:
Soak the seeds for 24-48 hours in water warm to the touch, just before planting. Optionally, the seeds can be lightly scraped with sandpaper to provide some permeabilization in the seed coat.
Plant seeds 1 / 2-1 "deep in moist soil.
Keep the soil temperature constant at 70-85F, with some day/variation in this range.

Estimated germination time in optimal conditions: 6 weeks to 6 months.

The pulp is often eaten fresh, the seeds are edible. It is used as a flavoring in beverages, desserts, sauces, and many other foods. The seeds can be extracted from the pulp by placing the pulp in a blender at a low speed. Pass the mixture through a strainer to retain the pulp and juice. Passion fruit (lilikoi) tends to be used more for juices or desserts and less to eat like fruit, as some people find the pulp too sour or acidic to be eaten fresh, although this varies greatly from vine to vine.
